Haven't updated the ol' Journal, not that it's a common practice for me anyway...just feeling particularly creative this evening, the Guinness in my veins may or may not have something to do with it.

I've recently been getting heavily into the band Wolfmother, you may/may not have heard of them considering they're Australian. If Zeppelin and Sabbath had a kid, and had a little affair with Floyd...the end result would be Wolfmother. Very classic rock with that oh so modern edge we've come accustom to. Well, old fucks like me maybe, you youngsters have no idea what I'm talking about.

Where was I? Rambling? Yeah that sounds about right. PERFECT MOTHERFUCKING DARK has finally come to Xbox Live Arcade, and if you were born before 2000 and hadn't played this when it was originally on the Nintendo 64, and you owned one, I will make it my life's mission to come to your house and beat you with your wiimote, George Forman Grill 3 (sony's latest price gouger), or 360 hard drive. A little extreme? Perhaps. If you owned a copy of Goldeneye 64, you'd better have it handy to save yourself from said beating.

There I go again, anyway...let me start by saying I had a raging hard-on when I learned of this re-releasing on my console of choice (babe if you read this it's nothing personal, nostalgia got to me and I had probably been drinking). When the release day had come, you bet your ass I downloaded it, and beat it on Agent (may get ridiculed by hardcore PD fans, but comeon, had to get back into the rhythm). Few gripes about it amongst the people, VERY few in fact (mostly dealing with the inability to swap heads on the main characters in Combat Simulator, that's right...you can no longer put Elvis' head on Cassandras body or make other ugly hermaphrodites). Rare did an exceptional job porting this to the 360, and I tip my hat to them for doing so...bringing back those oh-so tender weekends of my childhood when I could've been doing something productive.
